"Photography and Death"
Written by Lucia RM Martino for project End Rape Now (2015).

“Photography Saved My Life.” was the title of the article, as my eyes buzzed over the overwhelmingly white screen. I was poking around the internet, particularly on a soothing website called Elephant Journal, multi-tasking and not wholly paying attention to one thing. I hesitate to click on the article because I wasn’t in the mood to be reading anything serious. Yet, for some reason I found myself to the next page; it read: “Death isn’t the easiest concept to grasp…”

I swear, my heart stopped. This one had me.
